LOTE in Primary School
John Travers used to be a Primary School principal and he shares how the LOTE program at his school was one of his biggest frustrations because he thought it was failing. He makes the often reiterated point that LOTE programs are not given enough time and so and so expecting that students will be efficient speakers of a language is unrealistic, as we all know it is.
Teaching with ICT: It’s not about the hammer
In this video he talks about not getting too carried away with ICT tools and remembering that you have to have purpose to use them, not just because they are shiny fun tools.
